ENROLLMENT

We encourage parents to schedule an observation so that they can experience the beauty of our school. We understand that choosing the best fitting school can be intimidating and often competitive. At Gateway Montessori School we strive to aid parents’ decision-making process by asking that you sign up for a director lead tour of our facility. We have wonderful observation windows so that we can observe the classrooms without interrupting the children. 
The director leads the tours so that she is available to answer any questions you may have. This is also the first opportunity for relationship building, as we believe relationships with parents are equally important to our relationships with their children. Our goal is that parents leave our school feeling as informed, welcome, and optimistic as possible. We nurture the love of learning and believe in our program whole-heartedly. 

Enrollment Process: Parents seeking to enroll their child or children in one of Gateway’s Toddler or Preschool programs will need to follow these four steps: 

1. Visit Kinside to schedule an observation / tour appointment for yourself. 
        1. Scroll down to small menu on the Right.         
2. Select middle button: “Join Waitlist Now           
        3. Complete brief sign up & Join Our Waitlist.

2. Once you are approved for enrollment, a link will be emailed to you, in order for you to complete our digital application process. 

3. From here, parents will be able to submit emergency and authorization information, and our projected materials fee. Gateway Montessori School is required by state regulations to retain certain documents in a child’s file. Before your child’s first day of school, be sure to have all (4) of the following submitted:  1. Physician’s Form 2. Immunizations Form 3. Waiver Agreements 4. Your Tuition Agreement. These documents will be provided to you via email. Your child will not be able to begin until these documents are on file. 

4. Please ensure that your best email and phone number preferences stay up to date through Kinside, when Openings on the Waitlist occur so that you will receive your awaited Opening Notification, which we require your official response from, within a few days time, (If not claimed within 90 hours of program spot Offer, the opening will automatically be offered to the next student on our waitlist.)

Available spaces are assigned for the upcoming school calendar year, primarily from our Waitlist, and sometimes after January each year, to new students, on a first-come basis. A tuition packet including Physicians Forms, Emergency Authorizations forms, Parent Handbook, and Tuition Agreement, will be emailed to you in late April/ early May, or upon acceptance to one of our programs.
